  Q: What are the steps involved in replacing engine and transmission mounts on Infiniti G35?

  A: Concerning the mounts, there are two engine mounts and one transmission mount and they are as follows Engine mounts are fitted to the engine block in the passenger compartment and the driver compartment where they attach to each frame rail; One of the transmission mounts is situated in the rear of the transmission while the other is attached to the transmission crossmember. The car should be properly secured on jack stands, and engine/transmission should be supported by a hoist or a three bar support fixture.
